Overview: Save the Manatee Club is excited to welcome a motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Specialist to our team. In this role, you will manage our online store, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our supporters, and support our mission to protect manatees and their habitat through effective online sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
E-commerce Management:
- Online Store Maintenance: Manage and update product listings, descriptions, and pricing on our online store.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and manage inventory to ensure product availability. Track and supervise inventory for other departments.
- Order Processing: Process and fulfill online orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to online orders, providing exceptional support.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute e-commerce marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media promotions, and online advertising.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for product listings, promotional materials, and social media posts to drive sales and enhance brand awareness.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance, website traffic, and customer behavior to inform marketing strategies and improve the online shopping experience.
Technology and Software:
- Platform Management: Utilize e-commerce platforms and software to manage the online store, process orders, and track inventory.
- Tech Skills: Demonstrate an intermediate level of tech skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain policy and procedure documentation for e-commerce operations.
Collaboration and Support:
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development and operations teams to coordinate promotions, product launches, and other initiatives.
- Flexibility and Patience: Adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected tasks with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
- Intermediate tech skills and an adaptive learner of new software.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, online retail, or digital marketing is a plus.

In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining a clean and organized office environment, managing daily administrative tasks, and supporting property management functions. Your contributions will ensure our office runs smoothly and efficiently, helping us advance our mission to protect manatees and their habitat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Oversee daily tasks related to opening and closing the office, ensuring all areas are secure and ready for the next day.
- Supplies Management: Order and manage office supplies, keeping inventory organized and well-stocked.
- Mail and Packages: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Financial Backup: Provide support for processing incoming contribution deposits.
- Property Management: Assist with property management tasks, including coordinating maintenance and repairs.
- Technology: Demonstrate an intermediate level of tech skills, including the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Administrative Work: Create and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Customer Service: Greet visitors and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members. Be willing and able to assist with answering phone calls and/or emails on an as-needed basis.
- Documentation: Assist in developing policies and procedures as needed.
- Flexibility and Patience: Adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected tasks with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate tech skills and a quick learner of new software.
- Previous experience in office administration or property management is a plus.
