Your Kindness Still Carried Far: Giving ‘TEESday Impact Update

GT25 Noon

By Tonya Higgins, Director of Development and Operations

While we did not reach our $45,000 goal this Giving ‘TEESday, your support made a meaningful impact that will carry forward into our 45th anniversary year with purpose and heart.

Every donation, every shared message, and every moment of engagement added to a growing wave of care. These ripples matter. They help bolster our advocacy on key state and federal protections, support our long-term research and photo-ID work, keep our manatee webcams running through the winter months, and provide critical signage and educational materials to individuals and communities working hard to protect manatees.

Progress isn’t always measured in a single number. A footprint of kindness still travels, still influences, still protects. Your support ensures we can continue responding to threats in Florida’s waterways, strengthening protections, and aiding rescue partners when manatees are injured or in distress.

Thank you for staying in the current with us. Even when a goal isn’t fully met, your kindness continues to move forward, creating ripples of protection that reach far beyond Giving ‘TEESday itself.
