Moe’s 27th Birthday
Celebrate the 27th birthday of the Manatee Center’s Moe the Manatee Mascot on Saturday, November 11th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. This event serves as an opportunity to raise awareness and promote the protection of the cherished manatees and their habitat since it also lands in the middle of Manatee Awareness Month. ManateeFest will be a fun day for the whole family! Come out to the Center and connect with amazing volunteers and remarkable organizations that partner with the Manatee Center to ensure the well-being of the manatees and their habitat, along with exciting activities, games, face painting, demonstrations, and, of course, delicious birthday cake served at 1:30 p.m.
Save the Manatee Club is one of the organizations that will be in attendance! Stop by Save the Manatee Club’s booth during the event and Adopt-A-Manatee®, donate for manatee items, and participate in fun, kid-friendly crafts and puzzles. Our 18-foot inflatable manatee, Hope, will also be in attendance!
