Lagoon at Noon: Conserving Manatee Warm-Water Habitat Networks
Manatees in Florida depend on sources of warm water to survive the colder winter months. The biggest long-term threat to manatees is the loss of these warm water sites. Learn how conservationists are working to protect and enhance these warm water habitats throughout Florida and what you can do to help. The presentation will be led by Tiare Fridrich, Save the Manatee Club’s Manatee Biologist.
The seminar will end with a live Q&A session, and you can watch in person or virtually via Zoom. Given the limited seating in the Lagoon House and an increased demand for in-person tickets, there is a $5 in-person attendance fee. Please feel free to bring your own lunch. Coffee and cookies will be provided.
