The new CD will help raise awareness of manatees and support Save the Manatee Club's conservation efforts.

Capt’n Harry, the founder and past president of the Tampa Bay Parrot Heads in Paradise Club, Inc had this great idea a while back to ask a group of very special singer/songwriters to write and record an original manatee song, and then donate its use to Save the Manatee Club to help raise funds for our many conservation programs. The Capt’n has compiled eleven original songs in a new CD together with his narration of the manatee’s story. The result is a unique CD that will raise awareness and support our conservation efforts for manatees and their aquatic habitats. The CD is titled Saving Paddy Doyle: It's Up to You! and is available for purchase at the SMC online gift catalog for $20 (go to Books & Videos).

Our very special thanks go to Capt’n Harry, who is one of the manatee’s staunchest supporters. Under his leadership, the Tampa Bay Parrot Heads in Paradise Club raised over $150,000 for Save the Manatee Club from numerous projects they undertook through the years that benefited SMC, including their annual Manatee Ball with its live and silent auctions.
